PhotoCherry는 사진 정리와 SNS에 올릴 사진 고르기를 돕는 iPhone 앱입니다. 사진 정리는 모두 기기 안에서 하고, 사진은 내가 직접 골라 분석을 요청한 경우에만 기기 밖으로 나갑니다. 가입과 결제는 없습니다.
1. 기기 안에서만 다루는 정보
- 같은 사진·비슷한 사진을 찾으려고 사진 보관함을 읽습니다. 비교, 품질 점수, 미리보기는 모두 기기 안에서 만듭니다.
- 찾은 목록, 고른 항목, 사진 파일의 크기·해시 같은 정리 기록은 앱 안의 저장소에만 둡니다. 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다.
- 사진은 내가 고르고 마지막 확인과 iPhone의 시스템 확인을 거친 것만 지웁니다.
2. SNS 게시 점수: 내가 고른 사진만 보냅니다
- 점수를 받으려고 고른 사진 최대 5장과 고른 대상층·한 줄 메모만 보냅니다. 보내기 전에 동의를 받습니다.
- 사진은 기기에서 긴 변 1024px 이하 JPEG로 줄인 복사본만 보내고, 서버가 위치·촬영 정보를 다시 지웁니다.
- 보내는 곳: 운영자의 분석 서버(Hetzner, 독일, Cloudflare를 거침)와 분석 모델 Alibaba Cloud Model Studio(싱가포르). Alibaba Cloud는 자체 개인정보 정책에 따라 처리합니다.
- 운영자 서버는 사진과 모델 답을 저장하지 않습니다. 남기는 것은 분석 수, 사진 장수, 대상층, 비용, 걸린 시간 같은 운영 기록뿐이며 사람을 알아볼 수 있는 정보는 넣지 않습니다.
- 남용을 막으려고 접속 주소(IP)를 1분 동안 메모리에서만 세고 저장하지 않습니다.
3. 광고
- 앱은 무료이며 Google AdMob이 동영상 광고를 보여 줍니다.
- 맞춤 광고에 기기의 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 쓰는 것은 iPhone 추적 허용에서 허락했을 때뿐입니다. 유럽 경제 지역·영국 등에서는 Google 동의 화면에서 먼저 선택하며, 앱의 사용 안내에서 다시 바꿀 수 있습니다.
- 허락하지 않아도 광고와 앱 기능은 그대로입니다. 사진과 사진 정보는 광고에 쓰지 않습니다.
- Google이 광고에서 정보를 쓰는 방식: Google 파트너 사이트·앱의 정보 사용, Google 광고.
4. 그 밖의 연결
앱에는 운영자가 직접 주소와 토큰을 넣을 때만 쓰는 점검 기록 기능이 있습니다. 연결하지 않으면 아무것도 보내지 않습니다. 그 밖에 분석 도구나 추적 도구는 넣지 않았습니다.
5. 보관과 삭제, 내 권리
- 기기 안의 정보는 앱을 지우면 사라집니다. 지운 사진은 사진 앱의 ‘최근 삭제된 항목’에서 확인합니다.
- 운영자 서버에는 내 사진도, 나를 알아볼 정보도 없어 따로 지울 계정 자료가 없습니다. 궁금한 점이나 열람·삭제 요청은 위 메일로 보내 주세요.
- 어린이를 대상으로 한 앱이 아니며, 어린이의 정보를 알면서 모으지 않습니다.
6. 바뀌는 경우
이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지에 바뀐 내용과 새 시행일을 적습니다.

PhotoCherry is an iPhone app that helps you clean up your photo library and pick the photos most likely to do well on social media. Cleanup runs entirely on your device. Photos leave the device only when you pick them and ask for an analysis. There is no sign-up and no payment.
1. Information that stays on your device
- The app reads your photo library to find identical and similar photos. Comparisons, quality scores and previews are computed on the device.
- Lists, your selections and cleanup records such as file sizes and hashes are kept only in the app's storage and are removed when you delete the app.
- Photos are deleted only after you choose them and confirm both in the app and in the iPhone's system prompt.
2. SNS score: only the photos you pick are sent
- When you ask for a score, the app sends up to five photos you picked, the audience you chose and an optional one-line note, after asking for your consent.
- Only reduced copies (JPEG, longest side 1024 px) are sent, and the server removes location and camera metadata again.
- Recipients: the operator's analysis server (Hetzner, Germany, reached through Cloudflare) and the analysis model provider Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Singapore), which processes the data under its own privacy policy.
- The operator's server does not store your photos or the model's answers. It keeps only operational records (number of analyses, number of photos, chosen audience, cost and duration) that contain nothing identifying you.
- To prevent abuse, your network address (IP) is counted in memory for one minute and never stored.
3. Advertising
- The app is free and shows video ads served by Google AdMob.
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is used for personalized ads only if you allow tracking in the iPhone prompt. In the European Economic Area, the UK and similar regions you choose first in Google's consent screen and can change it later from the app's guide.
- Ads and all features work the same if you decline. Your photos and photo information are never used for advertising.

4. Other connections
The app includes a diagnostic log connection used only when the operator enters an address and token by hand; otherwise nothing is sent. No other analytics or tracking tools are included.
5. Retention, deletion and your rights
- On-device information is removed when you delete the app. Deleted photos can be checked in the Photos app's Recently Deleted album.
- The operator's server holds neither your photos nor anything identifying you, so there is no account data to erase. For questions, access or deletion requests, write to the address above.
- The app is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect children's information.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the changes and the new effective date are posted on this page.
